Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 01 January 2025

By using the cab and car rental services of Meja Road Car Rental Service (mejaroadcarrental.in), including our 2026 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga 7 Seater cab, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Our Vehicle

We operate a 2026 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga — a premium 7 Seater AC cab, ideal for families, group travel, wedding functions, outstation trips, and Teerth Yatra. The vehicle is well-maintained, sanitized, and GPS-enabled.

2. Seating Capacity

Our Ertiga accommodates a maximum of 7 passengers including the driver. Overloading beyond this capacity is strictly not allowed as per Motor Vehicle Act. A maximum of 6 passengers can be seated comfortably.

3. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after verbal or WhatsApp confirmation from our team. We reserve the right to accept or decline bookings at our discretion.

4. Payment Terms

Payment can be made in cash or via UPI/online transfer as agreed at booking.
For outstation trips, advance payment may be required to secure the booking.
Final fare is communicated at booking time. No hidden charges apply.

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 24+ hours before trip: Full refund.
Cancellation within 12–24 hours: 25% cancellation fee applies.
Cancellation within 2–12 hours: 50% cancellation fee applies.
No-show or cancellation within 2 hours: 100% fare charged.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

All passengers must be present at the pickup point at the agreed time.
Smoking, alcohol, or illegal items inside the Ertiga are strictly prohibited.
Passengers must treat the driver with respect.
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings.

7. Luggage

Reasonable luggage for all 6-7 passengers is allowed. The Ertiga has standard boot space. For excess or oversized luggage, additional charges may apply and will be communicated upfront.

8. Waiting Charges

If the passenger is not available at the pickup point beyond 30 minutes of the agreed time, a waiting charge may apply as discussed at the time of booking.

9. Vehicle Condition

Passengers are expected to maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle. Any damage caused to the vehicle interior or exterior by a passenger will be charged accordingly.

10. Liability

Meja Road Car Rental Service is not liable for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, weather, or other force majeure events. We are not responsible for loss of personal belongings left in the vehicle.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uttar Pradesh, India. Disputes shall be subject to courts in Prayagraj.
